Special Notice for Aetna Individual Plan Members in California:

Aetna recently announced that they will no longer offer individual health insurance in the state of California.  Costco offers an exclusive individual heath plan to California Costco members through Aetna and has negotiated an exclusive arrangement for its members.  

Those that purchase policies in 2013 will be able to maintain the same plans and rate through December 15, 2014.  This is a unique advantage for our members because they will not be forced to move to a potentially more expensive ACA compliant plan January, 1, 2014 with the rest of the market.  For those of you with Aetna individual policies, but not on the Costco program, this program is the only path to maintain coverage with Aetna in 2014.
